Some days we don’t have the time to do our regularly scheduled workouts or we don’t even know how to get back in to our fitness groove — I get it. Don’t give up just yet; there are little exercises that you can do throughout the day and night to break a sweat. Things you probably haven’t thought of, like doing calf-raises while you apply skincare products or doing crunches while watching Keeping Up With The Kardashians.

This one goes out to all the other students who are stressed with deadlines, applications, and exams who might not know how to squeeze in the time (or their abs). Life is all about balance, so if you skipped the gym, don’t stress out about it. Instead, use these fitness hacks to keep your mind and body on track — because everything does pay off. Here are some fun fitness hacks to follow to get the most out of your time.

  • Put on music and dance while studying.

  • Don’t fast-forward commercials, do sit-ups while waiting for the TV show to resume.

  • Do squats while brushing your teeth.

  • Do two minutes of sit-ups before getting in the shower.

  • Walk around your block/neighborhood while reading or answering e-mails.

  • Do 30 dips using the ledge of your bath tub.

  • Do 5 sets of push-ups using the kitchen counter while waiting for your food to cook/microwave.
